Dragon chicken is a delicious Indo-Chinese starter recipe which you can find in any Chinese restaurant. It is chicken strips marinated, fried and sauteed in a spicy and tangy sauce. Serve dragon chicken as an appetizer or as a side dish with Chicken fried rice or Chicken Hakka Noodles or any other Asian rice preparation.

Ingredients for Fried Chicken:
(Serves 3)
- 500 gms Chicken (Boneless)
- 1 tsp Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- Salt
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Paste
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Corn Flour
- 2 tbsp Plain Flour(maida)
- Oil(frying)

Ingredients for Sauce:
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/4 cup Cashew Nuts
- 3 Dry Red Chillies(chopped)
- Bell Peppers(chopped)
- 1 Onion(diced)
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 1 tsp Garlic Paste
- Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Paste
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp Sugar

Method:
1. Take thin stripes of boneless chicken in a large bowl
2. Add ginger & garlic paste, black pepper powder, soy sauce, red chilli paste over the chicken, and mix it all together
3. Crack one egg to the chicken bowl and mix it again
4. Now, add cornflour, Plain flour(maida) to the chicken bowl and mix it well
5. In a pan full of hot oil, add these chicken pieces and deep-fry them for around 5 minutes
6. Once fried, take the fried chicken pieces out and keep it aside
7. Now, in a separate wok, add 2 tbsp oil, followed by 1/4 cup cashew nuts and fry them till the cashew nuts changes to light golden in color
8. Now, add dry red chillies, bell peppers, diced onion and saute it for few seconds
9. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, black pepper powder, red chilli paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup; mix it well and add water to it
10. Now, add fried chicken and sugar to it and keep mixing it till each chicken pieces and vegetable is coated well
11. Remove this in a serving bowl and serve it hot
